You Pick The Judges 2026 - Rules & Guidelines
Community Judge Nomination Rules
Submit one local judge nominee and one national judge nominee for consideration.
- National judge nominees - may be based anywhere in the United States.
- Local judge nominees - Should be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or within reasonable driving distance of the event.
Each person may submit one nomination form using one email address. Duplicate, incomplete, fraudulent, bot-generated, or suspicious submissions may be removed at Spin Control’s discretion.
Public nominations may be considered as part of the selection process, but nomination totals do not guarantee selection. Final judging invitations are subject to each nominee’s availability, willingness to participate, experience, event fit, travel feasibility, budget, conduct, and Spin Control’s sole discretion.
At the end of the campaign, Spin Control will review the submissions and contact selected nominees. If a selected nominee is unavailable, unwilling, unresponsive, ineligible, or not approved by Spin Control, Spin Control may select an alternate nominee.
Submitting a nomination does not create any right to judge, attend, receive compensation, or receive any prize. This campaign does not award cash or a guaranteed prize to voters or nominees.
No purchase is necessary to submit a nomination.
Email addresses are collected to limit duplicate submissions, verify submissions if needed, and communicate about the campaign. Email addresses will not be displayed publicly as part of the nomination results.
Spin Control reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the campaign if technical issues, fraud, manipulation, or other circumstances affect the fairness or integrity of the process.
